We once set it up to survive in a world that sometimes felt overwhelming, unsafe, or incomprehensible. It helped us to fit in. It gave us something to hold on to. And somewhere… also a form of control.
That mask became our personality
Our way of doing, of thinking, of reacting to life.

What is the Enneagram anyway?
The Enneagram is not a test or trick. It’s an ancient system of consciousness that shows you nine different personality types – each with its own way of looking, feeling, and reacting to life. But what makes it so powerful is that it goes beyond behavior.
It reveals your core belief. That one deep, often unconscious conviction that colors your whole life.
For example:
– Type 1 believes deep down, “I’m not good enough the way I am.”
– Type 5 often feels, “I don’t know, so I have to back off.”
– Type 8 lives with: “I have no control, so I have to be strong.”
Do you recognize yourself in such a sentence? Then you immediately feel how deep it is.
Knowing is not enough

And so you started behaving in a way that worked. You developed a strategy to belong, to feel control, to secure yourself in a world that was sometimes unpredictable or overwhelming.
That strategy became your personality
It became so obvious that you forgot it was ever a choice. And that there is also something else living in you. Something real. Something softer.
